Building Construction Inspection

Building Construction Inspection

Once a permit is obtained construction may proceed. Contractors who begin work without a permit will be subject to double permit fees if discovered and if construction has not proceeded past the point where necessary inspections can be conducted. If work has passed the point at which a satisfactory inspection can be conducted, the construction may be required to be removed and the property owner or contractor may be subject to fines.
