About The Library

Mercedes Memorial Library was originally founded in 1969 by the City of Mercedes. The Library was renamed for our local hero Dr. Hector P. Garcia on March 4, 2010. Our Library strives to provide our residents with the best services and resources possible. We welcome all suggestions and feedback in order to better serve our community.
