Introduction to Basic Computer & Digital Skills

The Library is now holding introduction classes for basic computer skills, such as, understanding email and navigating the internet. Our trained Digital Navigators teach eager students the ins and outs of operating different digital devices and as well as how to make the most of the internet.

A brief history on the program:

The classes were created through funding from a grant provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services through a grant to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission in 2022.

Due to demand, the classes will continue for as long as they are needed by our community. For more information on how to sign up or make an appointment with one of our Digital Navigators, please call the Library at 956-565-2371.
