Criminal Investigations Division

The Division has 6 Investigators and 1 Evidence Technician whom investigate all manner of crimes, both misdemeanor and felony.

The Criminal Investigations Division strives to investigate and solve crimes in a timely manner  with positive outcome for the citizens and businesses of The City of Mercedes.

All crimes reported are assigned to an investigator based on the investigators’ area of expertise. Criminal Investigations is responsible for follow-up investigation on criminal offense reported to the police.
