“Impacting the Youth in Our Community”
Mercedes Recreation Center, in conjunction with the City of Mercedes, is responsible for the development and implementation of youth programs for youth that reside in the City of Mercedes. Youth ages 6 – 18 are targeted for programs that will increase pro-social behavior. These programs include recreation activities, community service events/projects, youth leadership programs and cultural events
Forms
Mercedes Recreation Center summer program is provided for kids between the ages of 6-18 years old, that are looking for fun positive recreation activities through the summer with the supervision and positive interaction of our Recreational Leaders. These programs and activities are provided to increase pro-social behavior with team building games and events, and provide youth leadership skills with our partnership of other outside agencies that provide positive programs.
